Long term wigs, what happens when you shower?

Question by quackenbrush: Long term wigs, what happens when you shower?
I’m wondering about how to take care of lace wigs that’ve had long-term adhesive applied beneath them.

Apparently you’re never supposed to take any wigs into the shower, but adhesive-treated wigs can hold for upwards of 4 weeks sometimes. So what happens when you go to the shower? Do you wear a cap? Do you just avoid getting the hair wet?

i would advise u to do both! u dont want the adhesive to get all moist because then it will lose its purpose! go to a beauty supply……grab u some clips, a scarf, and a good thick shower cap! that should do the trick!
