Perhaps a spray-on conditioner.

With Barbie dolls I do a deep condition, where I put conditioner in their hair and lets it sit. Then I comb it out. This might work for a synthetic wig.

I have a clip on i wear for fun and i wash it in mild shampoo and condition it also and let it hang in the shower, if it looks kinds scraggy on the ends i trim it also, try hard not to brush it hard…

Your local Beauty Supply may sell Mane and Tail leave in conditioner. i use it on all my wigs and it works. (look at the detangler too.)
