Question by Kelly: Does anyone wear a wig?
My hair is super thin so I don’t think extensions would work for me. But I have noticed many cool wigs– they look real..
Answer by Queien I wear a wig on occasion. They look really real. People who don’t know me think it’s my real hair and people who do know me (but don’t know I wear wigs) are shocked that I “cut my hair”. I’ve had several friends who even knew about my wigs walk right past me because they didn’t recognize me because the wig was so realistic. I mean, I can tell a wig when I see one, but the average person really has trouble.
Question by Nikki F.: Is there anyone out there who can tell me a reputable place to order a full lace wig with good quality hair?
I have heard many horror stories on ordering over the net. I can’t afford to order a wig that looks like a booga wolf !! Can anyone tell me where to get some decent hair?
Answer by Chaz Magoo Hi Nikki,
This site sell wigs and the products are absolutely great – I know what you mean about booga wolf, you spend a whole heap of money to get conned… who needs that!?
Hope the links help.

Question by tweekerkitty: Has anyone tried making a wig by punching hair thru a bald cap?
I’m going to try my hand at making a wig for a cosplay costume, and need some tips! I’ve found tutorials for wigs & weaves, but has anyone used a bald cap? I’m thinking of just punching the hair directly thru a bald cap but I don’t know if the latex would be strong enough or if it would tear with too many holes punched thru. If anyone has any ideas, I’m open to suggestions!
Answer by LalalLovee. The Latex would rip apart.
Better off with a real one.
Question by Mary: Has anyone found a great wig or hair replacement system to use after hair falls out during chemo?
I had a decent wig the first time but the hairline in the front didn’t look real. I saw a comment saying the Joseph Paris MHP wig is not worth the money.
Answer by FillMyEmptyRoomWithTheSun If you’re looking for something with a more realistic hairline, you’re going to want to go with a lace front of full lace wig. Lace front wigs have a more realistic hairline, full lace wigs come with the added benefit of having the ability to be parted anywhere.
